Lifting Capacity vs. Support Capacity

This trailer jack is rated for a 3,000 lb lifting capacity and a 5,000 lb static support capacity. The lifting capacity refers to the amount of weight the jack is designed to raise or lower, while the static capacity refers to the amount of stationary tongue weight the jack can support once positioned.

Always select a trailer jack based on the actual tongue weight of the loaded trailer, not the trailer’s total gross vehicle weight rating.

Swivel Pipe-Mount Design

The weld-on pipe mount allows the jack to swivel between its operating and travel positions. Once the trailer is connected to the tow vehicle, pull the included pin, rotate the jack parallel with the trailer frame, and reinstall the pin to secure it for transport.

This design provides additional ground clearance and eliminates the need to fully retract the jack every time the trailer is moved.

Top-Wind Operation

The top-mounted handle provides convenient access when raising or lowering the trailer tongue. This configuration works especially well where side clearance is limited or where a side-wind handle could interfere with the trailer frame, cargo, toolbox, or other equipment.
